Weather early May 2011
Well, the bees have had some fantastic sunshine to start them off in their new homes. But at the same time there have been some heavy thundery showers around too in early May. In addition the temperature forecasts indicate averages around 16-17 degrees, though it does feel warmer in the sunshine. I am hoping this is warm enough for them to be producing wax and building out their homes.
Judging by my hayfever, there seems to be lots of pollen out this year – lets hope the wasps are not the problem they were last year.
