www.fera.defra,gov.uk is where bee base lives. the Food and Environment Research Agency is developing and maintaining a database that ideally beekeepers can use to record their existence and their colonies.  In return they can get free advice, access to bee inspections and support, as well as helping to ensure that the spread of disease in the bee population is minimised.
